Hollow Hills is a family friendly community in Simi Valley, California that offers wonderful views from its hilltop location.
The homes at Hollow Hills were built between 1970 and 1975. They offer two to four bedrooms with living space ranging from 982 to 1,990 square feet. This community is served by the Simi Valley Unified School District and residents here are within walking distance to Hollow Hills Elementary. Students may also attend Hillside Middle School and Royal High School. There are several private institutions to choose from including Arroyo Montessori, Faith Academy, and Good Shepherd Lutheran School. Many higher learning schools are in this region like Ventura College, Moorpark College, and Cal State Northridge.
There are fifty recreational sites in this city including the Rancho Sims Community Park to the north. This park offers sports fields, trails, and picnic areas. Golf enthusiasts have a few venues to choose from like the Simi Hills Golf Course, the Lost Canyons Golf Club, and the Sinaloa Golf Course.
Simi Valley is considered to be a commuter bedroom community with residents working in larger areas like the San Fernando Valley, Ventura County, and Los Angles. Notable landmarks include the Big Sky Ranch where Little House on the Prairie and Poltergeist was filmed. And Corriganville Regional Park was once a movie ranch where Mackenzie’s Raiders was filmed.
